Start with your province for sales tax and language rules, then open your city for population figures, nearby municipalities and delivery-zone advice. Prince Edward Island and the territories have no municipality in the top 100; Chefzi still works there.
Rules that change by province
- Sales tax: HST in Ontario and Atlantic Canada; GST plus PST in BC, Saskatchewan and Manitoba; GST only in Alberta and the territories (Canada Revenue Agency).
- Food safety training and permits are set by each province and run by local public health.
