What Lightspeed publishes

Lightspeed’s Canadian restaurant pricing lists Starter at US$69, Essential at US$189 and Premium at US$399 a month, with Enterprise on request, and kitchen display screens at US$30 each a month (Lightspeed restaurant pricing, checked 29 October 2026). The same page says prices may vary with the nature of the business and the industry.

The currency is the point. The page is on the Canadian domain and the figures are in US dollars, so a Canadian restaurant pays the exchange rate on top of every one of those numbers, and the amount changes with the dollar.

The kitchen display is extra

On Chefzi the kitchen display is part of the system rather than a line item. On Lightspeed it is US$30 a screen a month, so a kitchen with two screens adds US$60 a month to whichever plan you pick. Worth pricing before you decide the plan is affordable.

Where Chefzi is different

The price is published, in Canadian dollars, before you talk to anyone: $17 CAD a month for cash and pickup ordering, $35 CAD with card payments, per location, with no commission per order.

Chefzi quotes in Canadian dollars, includes the kitchen display rather than charging per screen, and covers ordering, POS, printing, reservations and loyalty in the one fee. Menu setup and onboarding are free.
